Never played any far crys but if it's less than 20 bucks I would do it. 30 fps compared to 60 fps especially on a first person game like far cry is massive. ajimbo217 • 2 yr. ago. i had the og version from yeaars back in my library, recently got a series s and played it before and after the fps patch and its like a whole new game and better
But Far Cry 3 Classic should be running at 60FPS on Series X/PS5 and so should Far Cry 5 (Xbox owners at least have a choice but the the game is really blurry) Looks like they gave the 360 version an FPS boost, which I really don’t get why they didn’t do the Classic Edition.

Overall it's a pretty poor showing. The FPS goes to like 20 at some points, and if this is 1080p I'm a cross-dressing cosmonaut. It looks like 720p to me. FC5 looks twice as good and runs far better. The AK-47 sounds terrible and fires like an SMG. The water flickers with movement and kinda looks flat and crappy overall.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Classic Edition, the 2021 rerelease, seems poised to remind players of a time when Far Cry was still fresh and show the game in an even better light. But it doesn’t and is a mediocre port job that makes it clear why Ubisoft avoided the “remaster” label with this one.
