Originally posted by Fiat500USA. There is suppose to be an access plug on the trans side. You have to remove the battery tray to get to it, according to the repair manual. You remove the plug and then gain access to the top mounting bolt. It is withdrawn through this access hole.
The underhood fuse box. The Front Distribution Unit is located on the right side of the engine compartment, next to the battery. To access the fuses, press the release tabs and remove the cover. Hi Tim; Your engine number will tell you; if it is a 594cc engine ( 500R or early 126) it will start '126A'----a 500 engine will start '110' (479cc),'110D' or '110F' (both 499cc). The engine number is located at the n/s (left side) of the rear of the engine, just to the left of the rear, central engine mount. fPqS.
