Many of us middle-aged ol’ timers remember the mid-70’s Chevy trucks with their big block engines, and the engine heat seizing the starter motor. The fix? Tapping out a couple of shims from the aluminum cans of an adult malty beverage, and though I cannot recommend the foamy contents myself, the brewer in Colorado produces the best shims.

Look carefully how they are fitted before you remove them. Citroen Berlingo 1.6 hdi will not start with key? Wiring to relay between fuse and starter motor?

It will sometimes start after 2 turns and sometimes won't after a minute on the starter. Having had Lexia on it I can report the following: - Cranking pressure going up to 400 bar then regulator kicking in and sending it back to 290-300 so that's good. (Rebuilt injectors, rebuilt pump)
