I've been using the first vivoactiveloved it! But I wanted a more feminine version. I mostly use the features for running, biking and hikingnothing beats Garmin. Right out of the box I was able to enjoy the features: text, phone, email alerts; control music; check heartrate; etc. I am loving the additional features of the vivoactive 3.

Before getting the VivoActive 3 Music, I was running with a VivoSport, which was adequate for years (gps, heart rate monitor, tracking pace/time/laps), but smaller, more difficult to see/read, unable to "pause" and no bluetooth music.
