No problem, after looking in to it a bit more, it appears that arena mode, aka black ops 3 league play, will have dedicated servers as well as some public matches. Last Activision already has dedicated servers being set-up for Black-Ops on PC, so I don't see why they can't just add a few more and have Wii owners use the same system of servers. Dedis are usually user run, actually. There are usually very few company-hosted servers, and they're often completely generic. The only possible downside I could see is lag.
The servers ARE dedicated. You connect with other players via matchmaking, when the circumstances to launch the match are met, they are placed within a dedicated server that Activision owns. Companies are not trying to kill PC gaming, they just don't think PC games sell compared ot their console counterparts, and for the most part that's true.
According to the GameServers.com website, on their Pre-Order page, dedicated servers for Black Ops will have some different price schemes. Ranked servers, with a maximum of 18 players will cost
