With stunning set pieces, excellent combat mechanics, great puzzles and an interesting story, God of War on the PS2 was a revelation, and when it got a PS3 HD remaster, it was even better.
God of war 2 was released in March of 2007. The ps3 was released November 2006. I find it odd how gow2 was never made with the ps3 in mind. PS2 was the most successful console Sony had as far as longevity. They were still making PS2 games well after PS3 came out.

I’ve I played and beaten the PS4 version (loved it,) and played a little of the PS3 version (wasn’t my cup of tea.) from what I understand these remakes are of games closer to the PS3 version. The performance isn’t very good on the vita. 1. MrDillan.
