The vehicle is displaying several faults codes, Trans fault, HDC fault, Special systems etc. I also have the amber ABS, Brake and stability light on.The vehicle is lowered at all times. This started out as once in a while and now its always.
Near perfection. It has cost me unbelievably perhaps less than any car I have ever had, in running costs, allowing for the tasks (laden with up to six on school runs in all weather conditions) , lots of trailer towing , alps trips , oil changed in auto box at 141,000 miles, no problems, usual wear and tear (new bushes, discs & pads ) . What common problems does the Discovery 3 have? A number of owners have reported that there’s an untoward noise from underneath their Discovery Mk3 when driving along. A faulty propshaft centre bearing is the cause.

490 posts · Joined 2004. #6 · Jan 2, 2009. I assume the system needs to be re-synchronized by the dealer, so the car will be taken to Land Rover of Bedford sometime next week. I am willing to try all ideas that cost less than $97/hr before then, however! Hopefully this is not recurring too often.
The pins on the female side of the plug tend to open up and need to be crimped tighter. Clean the pins with contact cleaner and reconnect. Secure with a nylon wire tie to prevent a reoccurrence. 1. Complete Tech Tips List Page.
Disconnect the battery. 5. Remove engine cover and the screws holding the fuel rails in place (and loosen the hoses in the way by popping them out of their retaining clips) 6. Disconnect the the power connectors to the fuel injectors. 7. Lift the fuel rails, remove retainer clips on injectors, and wiggle them out.
